Beautiful Blush

If you haven't read my other make up articles you might want to read them first:  Finding Foundation and Perfect Powder.

As you might expect, from reading the other two articles, the correct shade of blush also has to do with your skin's undertone.  If your skin has a warm undertone (green veins, and a yellow or gold tone) then you'll want to choose a blush that has a brown base color.  Steer clear of deep reds and bright pinks.  For the cooler toned skin (blue veins and a pink or beige tone), you'll find that bright pinks or faded pinks are the best for you.  And for those with olive skin (blueish green veins and a brown undertone) the best colors for you have a hint of purple in the color.

I will, again, reiterate that the best blush's I have found belong in the Jane Iredale collection.  Be careful choosing your blush because it is easy to find one that is too bright and will look unnatural when applied.  Find something understated that will give you just enough color to make everyone wonder if you're really wearing anything.
