Product Review: Giovanni 2chic Ultra Moist

A few months ago I found myself wandering the aisles of Whole Foods.  As I looked at the shampoo section, I picked up a set that I hoped would truly improve the health of my hair.  Being on a budget is always part of my choice, as well.  But for $8 a bottle, I couldn't resist the challenge.  4 months later, I will admit that I am very impressed with the Giovanni 2chic Ultra Moist line.

I am a huge advocate of Aveda because of their quality of product.  So for me to willingly defer to another brand is quite an accomplishment.  I usually allow 2-3 weeks of usage before really evaluating a hair product.

The bottles offer promises of smoother, shiner, healthier hair.  Being that I also color my hair, my concern was also about proper hydration.  After a few weeks I did, in fact, notice that my hair was not only smooth and shiny, it wasn't lacking in moisture, either (mostly due to the avocado and olive oil).  I found myself going back time and time again to this great line from Giovanni. While I do, of course, have some slit ends, the breakage isn't nearly as bad as it has been in the past.

This product would be great for just about anyone.  Keeping your hair moisturized is extremely important during the summer, when you use hot styling tools, and if it's dyed.  If you're on a budget and need a good shampoo and conditioner, definitely give this stuff a try!
